The Hushd Pro Guard is a custom-made occlusal splint, intended to protect the teeth and jaw from bruxism (grinding) during sleep. It is designed to relieve jaw muscle tension and joint pain, as well as reducing the associated noise of bruxism.
The Hushd Pro Guard is made from Medical-Grade Nylon Polyamide Type 12. The strength of this production material means the device can be as small as possible (a thickness of 0.5mm on side walls), which ensures maximum patient comfort. It is virtually unbreakable (independently tested in 2024), which provides assurance that it will last. The Hushd Guard is a high precision splint which requires no or minimal adjustments. It has excellent control of position, surface and contact intensity.

Thanks to advanced CAD software, our experts optimize key features of each device based on the individual patient’s mandible trajectory. Hushd Pro devices are manufactured with industrial SLS 3D printers. The caliber of our digital machines combined with our operator quality control process ensures precision for each device.
Made from medical-grade polyamide type 12 nylon, our custom oral appliances meet TGA standards, with rigorous mechanical and biocompatibility testing for safety and reliability. In the USA the Hushd Pro Avera and Hushd Pro Z-Link are cleared by the FDA, and Hushd Pro Avera has received PDAC K1027 determination.
Patients who are identified as benefiting from the device, have an intra-oral scan or physical impression taken by a dentist. The data is submitted to the Good Sleep Co. lab for device production. A custom-made Hushd Pro Guard is then delivered as a ready-to-use package, to the desired location of the patient. (Optional ‘fitting’ of the device involves a dentist checking that the device fits perfectly and is ready for use.)
The Hushd Pro Guard slips over the Upper teeth and keeps them from grinding the Lower teeth. Wearing the Hushd Pro Guard can also help improve breathing and reducing snoring.
After use, the device is removed carefully. Once cleaned, it should be stored safely in the supplied storage dish.
