The SleepCare App was designed to empower people to ‘get started’ with a solution for snoring or sleep apnea, on their own. Individuals can buy ‘do it yourself’ (DIY) Oral Appliance Therapy (OAT) devices to trial, over the counter or online, to trial affordably. These devices integrate with the SleepCare App with instructions for use and videos. It also allows the user to see the benefits of potentially upgrading to a custom OAT device.
The SleepCare App integrates with sleep test devices, including the Good Sleep Test, to remotely monitor sleep and support patients throughout their journey. It offers step-by-step instructions for the full range of Good Sleep Co. devices, sends real-time reminders, and includes helpful videos and guides for proper device fitment. Users can track their sleep progress over time, and if they’re considering advancing to customised OAT, the app also provides information on local clinics and dentists who specialize in snoring and sleep apnea.

It provides instructions for use, and communicates sleep monitoring data from the Good Sleep Test in real time, as well as transferring it for generation of a Specialist Report. The App provides the user reminders and suggestions for maintenance of their treatment program, which is like having a ‘practitioner in your pocket’. It also allows users to connect with local clinics and dentists that specialise in sleep health.
To access the SleepCare App, a user will require a smart phone with a current operating system. SleepCare is available to download at no cost.
Once downloaded, the user is required to enter personal details like their age, weight and height. These are factors that help accurately output advice (back to the user). This is especially relevant when using the App for sleep monitoring. The user navigates through prompts to find information about the devices they have. When monitoring sleep, the user simply follows the intuitive instructions for activating a sleep test.
